Spa Circuit

The spa circuit is a rotation of healing practices that we weave into all of our wellness retreats. The circuit features an infrared sauna, crystal therapy grounding mat, and hydrotherapy soaking tub that features herb infused epsom salts. Nature’s cold-plunge in the spring-fed waterfall are used as needed whenever participants have cleared a lot of blockages and need a deep cleansing. It is amazing how well the negative ions from the moving water work to rejuvenate a person.

Spa circuits are part of the itinerary on most days of the retreat until everybody has participated in each station at least once.

The infrared sauna is known to penetrate deep into tissue layer and enhance cellular healing. It is also very helpful to assist the body in detoxifying endogenous (self-produced) and environmental toxins. Heating the body in this way is very supportive in releasing pain and stiffness. Typically after participants work up a good sweat in the sauna, they head down to the waterfall for a swim. It is incredibly rejuvenating.

We also feature a Spectrum Therapy Grounding Mat at our healing retreats as part of the spa circuit. This mat is made with thousands of crystals, each one matched to the chakra zone on your body. It also have Pulsed Electro Magnetic Frequency (PEMF). PEMF sends energy waves into the body that are matched to cellular healing frequencies. The science of this technology is used in sports medicine in order to speed up healing and recovery. Finally, the mat has red light therapy which is effective for enhancing tissue repair of exposed skin.

Hydrotherapy dates back to the origins of naturopathic medicine and many indigenous practices.  On our Hawaii retreats, we infuse epsom salts with essential oils and then fill up a deep soaking tub for participants to bathe in. Epsom salts are loaded with magnesium so your tissues and muscles can absorb it directly, easing aches and pains. The essential oils are combined to enhance anti-pain, relaxation, and restoration.
